Spotlight: 5 Questions With Content Creator Jordan Taylor

1. How did you develop a passion for cars and/or motorsports?
My passion for cars started at a very young age. Everything from Hot Wheels, Need for Speed, Forza Motorsport, to Gran Turismo videogames. It evolved further once I started attending car shows, going to races, and the occasional opportunity to drive or copilot cars I have photographed over the years.

2. What advice do you have for people who want to break into the motorsports and auto industry?
My simple advice is attend events and network with individuals in spaces that you want to be a part of. And for content creators – create more and consume less.

3. If you could drive any car, what would it be and why?
Either a Porsche 911 GT2 Evo (993 Gen) or a 992 GT3 Cup Car. Those two are dream cars and great examples of the past and present of Porsche motorsports.

4. If you could attend any car/motorsports event in the world, which one would you choose? Why?
Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK. It’s on my bucket list for motorsport events outside of the US.

5. What’s the most exciting car event/race you’ve ever attended?
Too many to pick from but I’ll say NASCAR Pennzoil 400 in Las Vegas. I received a media credential with full access to shoot track-side, pit road, and capture the pre-race ceremony and post-race interviews. I may/may not have brushed shoulders with Bubba Wallace and William Byron.
