Spotlight: 5 Questions With Photographer Rachel Schuoler

5 questions we asked and she answered:

 
1. How did you develop a passion for cars and/or motorsports?
When I was about 13 years old, I started watching auto racing. However, when I was about 21, I really developed a passion when I saw them completely take apart an engine and put it into the backup car within hours.

2. What advice do you have for people who want to break into the motorsports and auto industry?
You have to get out there and make a portfolio. That’s the first thing I would do. It’s a grind, and you have to pay your dues for sure. Then get out there and network; all it takes is a foot in the door.

3. If you could drive any car, what would it be and why?
The Lamborghini Huracan is my dream car! I would want to drive one of those..

4. If you could attend any car/motorsports event in the world, which would you choose? Why?
The Monaco Grand Prix, hands down! It’s so famous and historic. That would be a huge bucket list race to see.

5. What’s the most exciting car event/race you’ve ever attended?
Daytona 500. It’s the Super Bowl of NASCAR. It is always a great weekend. Not just because of the racing but because of all the events going on.
