\n1. How did you develop a passion for cars and\/or motorsports?<\/strong>
\nMy passion for cars and motorsports started with my Dad, who has a 1972 Monte Carlo. Funnily enough, I used to be scared of that car. I also started watching racing in the late 90s, thanks to my father, who went to school with Jeff Burton. After that, the rest was history. I’ve loved cars and racing ever since.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
\nI broke into the industry via the NASCAR Diversity Internship program in 2017. The one piece of advice I can give people is simple: Maintain your relationships. You never know who might know each other and how it can lead to your next opportunity. \u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
\nI would love to drive a 1970 Chevy Chevelle SS, an absolute icon of a car. I think muscle cars are few and far between, but I would love to cruise around, and, of course, push the big block V-8 a little bit on the highway.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nThe Indianapolis 500 easily. It’s one of the key races on what race fans deem the “Greatest Day in Motorsports.” Even from watching it on TV, the energy looks and feels different.<\/span><\/p>\n
\nThe 2018 Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona was one of the most exciting races I’ve ever attended. Erik Jones won in overtime, but it was exciting to see him win at the time, along with my internship classmates. It was just a fun night with all my friends.<\/span><\/p>\nA glance at his reporting:
