\nNykki McGee is writing her own story in the world of stunt driving, going off script\u2014literally! With a passion ignited from an early age, Nykki has transitioned from a student at the Motion Picture Driving Clinic and Drift 101 to becoming a junior instructor, and now she’s fully immersed in the competitive scene. Whether it’s rallycross, autocross, or preparing for the 2025 Rebelle Rally, she’s determined to get behind the wheel of any vehicle she can find\u2014executing each move with the precision of a perfectly choreographed stunt sequence.

\nHer journey into motorsports is anything but conventional. As a stunt performer, Nykki\u2019s TV credits include hit shows like S.W.A.T., 9-1\u20131, Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, The Rookie, CSI: Vega, and Perry Mason, to name a few.\u00a0Initially focused on the stunt industry, Nykki explored various avenues\u2014fight training, firearms, SCUBA lessons\u2014but the thrill of sliding her first car and riding her first dirt bike truly opened her eyes to what was possible. Now, she aims to create breathtaking chase scenes and stunts that leave audiences on the edge of their seats.

As she builds out her 2007 Lexus GX 470 for the Rebelle Rally alongside an incredible group of women, Nykki’s competitive spirit shines through. Although she currently finds herself without a vehicle for rallycross, she can’t shake the vision of tearing through the desert in a Can-Am\u2014Africa is calling her!

\nAmidst all the shredded tires and sweat, Nykki is passionate about empowering other women to take the wheel. From instructors who taught her to control a skid to professionals who unveiled the industry’s hidden gears, she’s now shifting into her own lane. With an open heart and mind for new opportunities, Nykki is proving that the best stories aren’t written on paper but behind the wheel.\u00a0

5 questions we asked and he answered:<\/h3>\n

1. How did you develop a passion for cars and and stunts?<\/strong>
\nI guess you could say my passion started as a kid with a dad who had a riding lawn mower\u2014that was my first race car, haha. My family was far removed from motorsports, so while some opportunities were sprinkled in, fast forward to me sliding my first car at 27. I was immediately in. I started taking stunt driving and drifting courses and haven’t looked back since!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2. What advice do you have for people who want to break into professional driving and\/or the stunt industry?<\/strong>
\nIf you can’t stop thinking about it, go give it a chance! 5-4-3-2-1\u2014GO. Take the class. Try the race. No matter how weird it feels. Keep doing it, and eventually, you’ll start paving YOUR way. I didn’t have ANY connections when I started; a lot has changed since..<\/span><\/p>\n

3. If you could drive any car, what would it be and why?<\/strong>
\nI have to get my hands on a Datsun 240Z to fulfill my dad’s dreams. He always wanted one but never had the chance to, so I feel I have to live that out for him. And maybe restore one because that’s what he’d do!.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. If you could attend any car\/motorsports event in the world, which would you choose? Why?<\/strong>
\nSince getting a taste of rally and off-road racing, Dakar would be a dream. I love the unexpected obstacles and constant changes it calls for in off-road racing. Plus, I have mad respect for navigators. (But I’m hyped for KOH next weekend and Rebelle Rally this year!)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

5. What’s the most exciting car event\/race you’ve ever attended?<\/strong>
\nWhile the Indy 500 is iconic, I loved being with the women as they left the starting lines in Mammoth, CA, for the 9th Rebelle Rally. I wasn’t able to compete but was able to show up and support the women I trained with. There’s a special sisterhood there.<\/span><\/p>\n
