5 questions we asked and she answered:

1. How did you develop a passion for cars and/or motorsports?
Growing up, my parents always had sports cars and classic cars. They took me on antique car club tours, to concours d’elegances, and to dirt track races at the county fairgrounds. Unsurprisingly, it rubbed off on me. I loved speed and craved the freedom driving promised. In high school I started making my own friends who were also into cars, and they introduced me to autocross and track days.

2. What advice do you have for people who want to break into the motorsports and auto industry?
Go to all the auto-related and racing events you can and talk to the people there. Join a club. Say yes to every invitation. Meeting like-minded people already doing what you want to do will open so many doors and make getting into the car life so much easier.

3. If you could drive any car, what would it be and why?
This is maybe the hardest question you could ask me. I would never be satisfied with just one. Right now I’d say the Le Mans-winning Mazda 787b to hear the 4-rotor up close, and rallying Michele Mouton’s record-setting Pikes Peak Audi Sport Quattro S1 because she is a GOAT.

4. If you could attend any car/motorsports event in the world, which would you choose? Why?
Another difficult question to narrow down an answer for! There are so many. WRC Portugal, Dakar, Mille Miglia, Baja 1000, Isle of Man TT, La Carrera Panamericana… all to see some amazing driver skill, incredible vehicles, and beautiful parts of the world I haven’t visited before.

5. What’s the most exciting car event/race you’ve ever attended?
My most exciting events were 24 Hours of Lemons races my own team was fighting down to the wire to win. Otherwise, the 2006 X-Games Rally final when Colin McRae rolled landing the final jump, kept going, and lost gold by a half second. The stadium energy went fully electric!
